There is no doubt that Lethal Weapon was one of the biggest hits to put Mel Gibson on the map. It was the perfect mix of comedy and action, and Gibson and Danny Glover played a great team. Conspiracy Theory had a lot of fun with teasing the audience about whether or not Gibson’s character is crazy or not. Out of all of these films though, I have always had a soft spot for Maverick. This might be the most charming of all Mel Gibson movies. You can just tell that Gibson, Jodie Foster and James Garner are having a ton of fun, and the twisting story keeps the viewers on their toes. |
